Course Information for …   Basic Living Skills – Basic Sewing Masterton Term 1 2022

Course Tutor(s):  Joanna Hehir is an experienced seamstress who enjoys sharing her passion for sewing and creating with fabric with her learners.

Purpose of the Course:  

Participants will learn about…Learners have increased confidence in basic sewing projects.

Learners can use a domestic sewing machine, using basic stitches and functions.

Learners can complete basic sewing projects.

Learners begin to understand how to read and follow a pattern.

Other Information:  No experience required.

 

Pre-requisites (if any):  None

Participants Must Provide:  Please bring along your own machine if you have one.  Also please bring your materials for your project.  Joanna has some spare fabric to get you started.

REAP May Provide on request (if any):  Sewing machine – please let us know if you need to use one.
