We have really loved seeing all the updates this week from our local kura who are have been sharing their Te Wiki o te Reo Māori moments.
At REAP Wairarapa we were lucky to celebrate some amazing moments with the Nga Tama Toa and Poi Porotiti roopu’s both led by fantastic local kaiako Pania Smith, Troy Douglas and Carleigh Cocks.
With thanks to Noise Productions Ltd and Carterton District Council we were able to start our journey towards this year’s virtual Wairarapa Schools Kapa Haka Festival with the filming of South End School’s teina and tuakana roopu, led by the awesome kaiako Palais Douglas.
None of this could happen without our supportive teachers and amazing taiohi. Ka mau te wehi! Kia kaha te reo Māori
