Must Enrol by: Thursday 28th April 2022
Please note: Courses need a minimum number to go ahead so if we don’t have enough enrolments a few days before the start date, we will have to cancel. We will contact you if this is the case.
Course Information for … Computer Basics – Masterton – Starts Thursday 5th May (#38293)
Course Tutor(s): Stephen McLeary is an experienced tutor in the fields of ESOL, literacy, numeracy and digital literacy.
Purpose of the Course: To become confident in computer basics.

By the end of this course learners will:

Be able to use the basic functions of the computer including opening and saving files.

Be able to use basic programs such as Word, Email and introduction to spreadsheets.

Be able to understand internet security and safety, and how to use an internet browser.

Pre-requisites (if any): None
Participants Must Provide: Bring along your laptop and any passwords required.
REAP May Provide on request (if any): We can provide Chromebooks to use, please let us know if you require one.
