#40015 Creative Confidence
In this course you will learn new techniques to enable you to express yourself in a variety of art projects.
You will use art methods such as grids for drawing, crafting basic patterns for sewing, and how to take materials from 2D to 3D.
Gain confidence to express yourself through creative mediums and meet new friends along the way. All very welcome.
Dates: Wednesday Evenings, 26th October – 7th December (7-weeks)

Purpose of the Course:
Lesson 1
Drawing exercises to encourage focus
Observation of distance exercises to enhance visual measuring skill
Lesson2
Quick look at geometry in art: cubes, rectangles, cylinders
Drawing using basic shapes of geometry.
Lesson 3
Exercise in using maths to get correct proportion and good results.
Lesson 4
Learning proportions in the face. Using maths to get correct accuracy/ symmetry when drawing.
Lesson 5
Draw up grid, measuring accurately, create portrait from a gridded reference photo.
Lesson 6
Looking at perspective, one and two point.
Lession 7
Use reference picture, use basic shapes method to draw it.
Pre-requisites (if any): no previous art experience required. Please note: All resources provided in class.
