#WAI 36714 Microsoft Excel – Spreadsheet Basics (4-weeks)
Microsoft Excel is used by almost every business but did you know it is also helpful for managing life admin at home. Learn how to create spreadsheets, as well as identify elements of a workbook, enter and edit data, generate basic calculations and use built-in spreadsheet functions.
Windows skills essential – this is not a course for absolute beginners to computing.

Course Information for Microsoft Excel – Spreadsheet Basics
Course Tutor(s): Tracy Graham
Purpose of the Course: Participants will learn about various spreadsheet modules. By the end of the course, participants will have had a basic introduction to using Microsoft Excel, including how to:
• Identify elements of a workbook
• Page setup and printing, sorting, filtering
• Enter and edit data and basic formatting
• Generate basic calculations
• Use cell references and built-in functions
Pre-requisites (if any): Basic Computer skills – this course is not for absolute beginners to computing.
REAP May Provide on request (if any): Learners to advise prior to the course commencing whether a laptop is required or if they are using their own laptop.
