Learners will plan, design and construct individual sewing projects to gain basic sewing skills and confidence to use a sewing machine.
Pick up helpful tips so you can do simple sewing projects at home.
Beginners welcome. Previous learners will continue to build on sewing skills and knowledge.
Dates: Monday Evenings, 13 February – 26 June (Excluding 5 June)

Cost: $20 / $10 with Community Services Card

Purpose of the Course:
- To learn basic sewing skills and gain confidence to operate a sewing machine independently.
- Be confident to plan, design and complete sewing project/s. This might include: planning a project; drawing up ideas on paper, measuring quantities, listing resources and making approximate costings.
- Learners will improve foundation literacy and numeracy skills and gain confidence problem solving.
- Make something new out of something old.

Participants Must Provide: If you have your own sewing machine and instruction booklet, please let the tutor know.
