41279 Taku Kuru Pounamu – for Tāne (men) only
A one day hands-on workshop with Aaron Greaves for Tāne.
Learn the whakapapa and history of pounamu. Choose, shape and bond with the piece and create your own taonga.
By the end of this workshop participants will:
– Have made a connection with our taiao through working with pounamu
– Have learnt some basic reo and tikanga around working with pounamu
– Have created a taonga
Bring kai for a shared lunch “Mā te ako, ka mārama, mā te mārama ka mātau, mā te mātau ka ora”
