Te Reo Māori – Te Ataarangi ki Pae Tū Mokai – Term 1 2023 (#41147)
Te Ataarangi is a total immersion way of learning Te Reo. Te Ataarangi is well-known for the use of coloured Cuisenaire rods as a learning tool. It’s an effective language-learning technique that encourages you to speak. In Te Ataarangi, the language is taught alongside Māori customs and values. Beginner level, and there is an expectation that you will practice between sessions.

Times: 6:00pm – 8:00pm (9 weeks)

Venue: Fareham Creative Space, 80 Underhill Rd, Featherston
Cost: $40 for the year paid directly to Te Ataarangi via the tutor.

Course Tutor(s): Edith Rolls is an experienced Te Ataarangi tutor who shares tikanga around the use of Te Reo in the correct situations.
Purpose of the Course: Te Ataarangi is a total immersion way of learning Te Reo. Te Ataarangi is well-known for the use of coloured Cuisenaire rods as a learning tool. It’s an effective language-learning technique that encourages you to speak. In Te Ataarangi, the language is taught alongside Māori customs and values. This class will run for the year in termly blocks. Course content is determined by the participants.
