By the end of this course learners will be able to:
- Know a karakia
- Harvest and care for their harakeke and pa harakeke
- Prepare flax for weaving
- Use basic weaving techniques
- Weave kono, konae and more
Dates: Wednesdays 22 , 29 Jan, 5, 12, 19, 26 Feb, 4, 11 March
Times: 6pm – 8.30pm

Venue: Te Kohanga Whakawhaiti Marae (Pahiatua Marae), Riccarton Rd, Pahiatua
Cost: $20 with current Community Services Card, $40 standard cost
Enrolment: At Heartland Service’s, 11 Mangahao Rd, Pahiatua.
