Te Ataarangi is a total immersion way of learning Te Reo. Te Ataarangi is well-known for the use of coloured Cuisenaire rods as a learning tool. It’s an effective language-learning technique that encourages you to speak. In Te Ataarangi, the language is taught alongside Māori customs and values. Beginner level, and there is an expectation that you will practice between sessions. You’ll learn basic mihi, Karakia, waiata and conversational reo.
Dates: Starting Wednesday 14th February 2024 for 9 weeks
Times: Wednesday Evenings 6pm – 8pm

Course Tutor(s): Edith Rolls is an experienced Te Ataarangi tutor who shares tikanga around the use of Te Reo in the correct situations.

This class will run for the year in termly blocks. Course content is determined by the participants.
