A wānanga learning karanga and tikanga of Rangitāne and Ngāti Kahungunu ki Wairarapa.

Te Reo o Hākui – Wānanga Karanga Term 4 2022
Course Tutor(s): Hūria Robens is a local expert of te reo, tikanga, and karanaga here in Wairarapa. She has knowledge and experience from years of working alongside our kuia here in Wairarapa.
- By the end of this course learners will;
-Have increased knowledge and understanding of karanga
-Have increased confidence to perform karanga in a variety of settings
Pre-requisites (if any): Must have a reasonable knowledge of te reo. Priority is given to local wahine of Rangitāne and Ngāti Kahungunu.
Participants Must Provide: This is a noho marae based wānanga. It is preferred that you stay for the weekend on the marae. Please bring bedding, toiletries, etc as normal for a marae stay.
