Kia ora,
My name is Rachel and I’m super excited to join the REAP Early Childhood Education Team as Team leader.
I’ve enjoyed a varied career in Early Childhood education. This has included running a Parent Education programme through Plunket, working in Kindergartens, ECE centres and in Home Based ECE.
I’ve also been a student mentor to students studying Early Childhood Education, and more recently I’ve had the fabulous opportunity to work with Rangatahi in Youth Development.
Every one of these roles and this experience makes me incredibly passionate about working with whānau and their tamariki.
I’ll be working with Jude for a smooth transition for the next few weeks before she heads off for a well deserved retirement to spend time with her whānau, and I’ll be visiting playgroups with Shirley too.
