REAP Wairarapa Adult Education Privacy Policy
This page is used to inform website visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information entered while enrolling through REAP Wairarapa.
By enrolling, you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The personal information that we collect is used for providing and improving our courses. It is used for reporting purposes to the Tertiary Education Commission and other funders. This information may be shared with REAP Aotearoa at their request, and may be viewed by our auditors.
Information Collection and Use
We require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your name, address, phone number, age and ethnicity. The information that we collect will be used to contact or identify you as well as to fulfil our obligations to our funding providers. Names are not provided on any of our reports, only age, ethnicity and gender etc.
Whenever you visit our website, we collect information that your browser sends to us that is called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your computers Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser version, pages of our services that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics.
Cookies

Enrolment
Enrolling through our website does not guarantee your registration and a place on the course or courses you have registered for. We will contact you to confirm your registration.
Payment
Payments are securely captured through our third-party payment provider PayStation by Trademe. You can visit their website for more information at www.paystation.co.nz.
REAP Wairarapa is a New Zealand owned Not for Profit organisation.
All payments are in New Zealand Dollars $NZD and your credit card or bank statement will show as Wairarapa REAP Inc.
Refunds
- If a course is cancelled due to insufficient numbers, a full refund will be given.
- If the learner withdraws from a course 10 days or more before a course is due to take place, a full refund will be made.
- If the learner withdraws between 9 and 5 days before a course takes place a refund of 50% will be made.
- If the learner withdraws between 4 and 2 days before the course takes place, a refund of 25% will be made.
- If the learner withdraws less than 2 days before the course or does not turn up for a course, no refund shall be made.
- Where personal circumstances warrant (eg. family bereavement, injury), these conditions may be waived by REAP Staff on compassionate grounds.
